About

I’m a writer, poet and photographer from Delhi, India, and I have always been in love with stories because they seemed so magical. My grandfather taught me that everyone has the power to weave that magic through the fables they tell. At the age of eleven, I picked up the pen and the camera, and the spark was lit.

I’ve worked as a researcher for three years, deciphering the tales that data tell. I learnt how all information has a narrative. Combining my interest in photography with writing and research, I began telling visual stories about Intangible Culture and Heritage, covering the people of Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and the Baiga people of Madhya Pradesh.

Blue Parchment is a melting pot. It is my sandbox for writing, experimenting, challenging myself. Here, I explore human interactions and connections, unraveling the many knots of human relationships. This craft expresses itself in many mediums – visual or the written word. I make these stories a vivid testimony to the strengths, frailties and many colours of the human soul.

I hope you have a good time here.
