স্বপ্ন গুলো গেছিল হারিয়ে
হঠাথ এক স্তব্দ মাঝরাতে
এক চিমটে হলুদ আলোতে
ফিরে পেলাম তাকে
ধুসরিত আমার
ছোট্ট স্বর্ণগোলক

First time using the Google Transliterator, and since my Bangla is really, really rusty, this might not have come out all that well. Do let me know, anyone, in case there are any grammatical errors and/or spelling errors. I'd like to give this type of stuff some more tries...

  1. luvd the simplicity!! and loved the fact u kept it in bengali...the words were soo lyrical... i love english...but anyday dere is lot more beauty in the word "chimte" dan "pinch"

  3. @ buckingfastard... Thanks a lot. Even I personally feel that Chimte is a much poetic word than Pinch. In fact, I tried to translate this poem here for the benefit of a friend, but somewhere, the essence was lost entirely in translation...
